Mum got a 2012 Impala LTZ yesterday in Imperial Blue Metallic.. I must say.. Not a fan of space ships, but this is a fun one to drive. :)

 

They're nice, but not my cup of tea. It just felt odd to drive-kind of like sitting atop an elephant and steering it with reigns. I had one for about 11 days when my SS was in the shop. Fire engine red. The seat was stiff, the dash was plain, and the car handled like a pig.

The LTZ on the other hand, I would certainly expect much much better from that trim package than the LT that I had. I'm not going to lie. When the Impala first came out, I saw one at a McDonald's drive through while I was at a stop light across a ways from it. I thought it was great looking. Not many people can remember the first time they've laid eyes on a car... it must have had an impact, lol.

 

The guy that works next to me has a white SS Impala and he is meticulous about its upkeep. Beautiful car. While one might argue about a bit dated style, I really like it and told him to keep me in mind when he gets ready to trade.
I bet it is really attractive in that blue!

 

Congrats to your mom on the new car. Any new car is better than my used car any day of the week. But, man its about time Chevrolet updates that platform...2013 spy shots dont look bad.

It was looking good when we pulled it out.. My only complaint. I could already see hairline scratches on it from the "detail" shop cleaning it up for us to take home.

 

Tell them. That's unacceptable. Good eye!

They are nice cars, esp. for momma! The 2013 is going to be a change up though, might of waited if you could :)
