Any Ratrodders in the forum?

Rat rodding how? As in building a period correct, 50's style hot rod they way they were built in the day, or welding a bunch of rusty crap together and calling it a Rat Rod?

yep that covers most of the nice to the rusty, every owner has their preference I am finding out. My self, I would rather have the primer version, nicely built.

Same here. I really like a well done hot rod in primer. It's a no-nonsense look. Too bad it's degenerating into crap-on-wheels.
Gennie steel is expensive, I kinda like the ones done with old Jeeps.
That's the route I would go, most likely.

I just attended the Rhinebeck, NY car show, lots of rat rods.
I was thinking about getting a cheap old Caddy to rat out with black spray, but I wouldn't know what to do with the interior. I found this caddy on ebay that had the most god-awful interior I've ever seen, aqua green and tweed It's so ugly it's gorgeous. ebay item 220599754413
