Anyone concerned about Anheuser Busch being sold to foreign country?
Anyone concerned about Anheuser Busch being taken over by a foreign country?
Did you even know that Belgian-Brazilian brewer InBev is planning to buyout Anheuser Busch?
What else is new? It seems like all of the big companies are moving out of the USA. I really feel sorry for all our AMERICANS that will soon be losing jobs with this buyout. I am personally quite ticked off that this is happening and no one is doing much about this!!!
InBev has threatened to get stockholders to vote out the current Anheuser Busch board of directors and replaced with their own board of directors from their Belgian-Brazilian directors?
Many stockholders are seriously considering the takeover since InBev is promising them a bigger payout on their stocks. Looks like money and greed may really be more important than American tradition after all...
Rumors are rampant around St. Louis (World Headquarters of Anheuser Busch) that not only will there be huge job cuts locally but nationwide?
Possible closings of all Busch Garden facilities?
No more Clydesdale ads or American Anheuser Busch logo?
Since this has never been discussed on these forums to this point, I'm curious to hear what others think of this hostile takeover of another American tradition?
Should Americans let the King Of Beers turn over the American brewing tradition to a foreign brewer?
Your thoughts?

Some of the local St. Louis community members have already started a worldwide petition to let InBev and AB know that the general public is tired of America being sold out...

I'm not sure why people didn't protest when Miller was sold to South Africa.
As for the HHR, the HHR is made in Mexico but the profits still go back to General Motors here in the US.
Anheuser Busch products will be made in the US with all profits going back to the Belgian-Brazilian brewery.
Plus Anheuser Busch has donated millions of dollars to charities each year ($13 million in St. Louis alone). InBev and donated nothing to US charities.
InBev is planning to really tighten belts to make sure the new AB division is all about profit and the big $$$. Most Busch Theme parks including Busch Gardens are planned to be sold off with the new ownership.
Just sad to see another US company gone to a foreign country...
Here's to the new CEO of InBev AB...
