I went with black because that's just the type of guy I am! It was a toss up with the Gun Metal, but I could live with any of the colors.

What are you having painted? The whole car, two tone job, graphics/flames etc, or... just keeping us in suspense for now.

Agreed... I've had those colors (red, blue & black) + silver, white, yellow and even cream (25yrs ago)... now it was time for orange!

The Amethyst purple color caught my eye too... but orange was the color I saw when the HHRs first came out & it made a lasting impression on me.

The Ford Aspire came in some pretty bold colors but you don't see anyone giving it praise for doing so. I personally couldn't see myself driving around in a bright odd colored car. I like dark colors.

I had to go orange, dealers kept telling me I would have to wait or take what they had on the lot. After having my Harley in orange, and all the attention it gets, I was willing to wait the 12 weeks.

(11 weeks, 3 days and counting down)

Bet the HHR would stand out in that Bright Yellow Chevy has on the Colorado pickup. That's what we were checking out when we opted for a Sandstone HHR instead.
