Head of Cartoon Network Resigns
By HARRY R. WEBER, AP Business Writer

ATLANTA - The head of the Cartoon Network resigned Friday following a marketing stunt that caused a security scare in Boston.

The announcement about Jim Samples resigning was made in an internal memo sent to Cartoon Network staffers.

In a statement to employees, Samples said he regrets the stir that the stunt caused.

"It's my hope that my decision allows us to put this chapter behind us and get back to our mission of delivering unrivaled original animated entertainment for consumers of all ages," Samples said.

Considering the beating Boston has taken repeatedly for being the starting point of 9/11, and being a large, historic city, I don't think for one second anyone overreacted. Yeah, I'm a bit biased, but I support all of the measures taken 100%. After all, does anyone here really know what a bomb looks like? After being in the fire service for 28 years and attending numerous classes, I still don't know. I bet most of you don't either. As for the costs........politics is politics.

And to SandyBeach.......LA County used to run small rescues only to get the Paramedics to a call. Nowadays they are on the ambulances.

Awesome video of GlitchCrew in action hanging the harmless units that sent Boston into a panic.
