Geez, and he just recently started sponsoring Amsoil synthetics, didn't even make it to his first extended drain interval.

Is it just me or is there a lot of death going around today? Boyd Coddington is the third one I've heard about, after Bill Buckley and Myron Cope.

Ah well. C'est la vie.

Wow, what a bad day. First off I hear a political hero of mine has died (William F. Buckley), and now Boyd. Truly a sad day.

I will wait to comment on anything really until the cuase of death is determined, but you can not deny what the man did earlyer in his career.

Growing up in the Pittsburgh a I always had to listen to Myron Cope, and hated every minute of it, but regardless of how i felt of his announcing he will be sorely missed by his friends, family, and fans of the steelers (that is alot of people that i know).

Tim, I'm sure this affects you more than anyone else here, since you recently met him & he paid you the ultimate compliment to a car guy...best in show! You've got the trophy, pics, and the memory that will last your lifetime. How he acted personally is irrelevant to the custom car world...he was a GREAT contributor to the hobby & will be greatly missed!
