wow...this is unbelievable! My heart and prayers go out to all those affected by this...reports of 50-100 car perhaps into the river according to CNN. Death toll right now is at 3...I doubt it will stay at that if number of cars in water is accurate

Motor truck used for transport of goods. Note: Motor truck is an American term. British synonym for motor truck is Heavy Goods Vehicle. This British term means any vehicle exceeding 7.5 metric tons maximum laden weight.
a large low horse-drawn wagon without sides
a large truck designed to carry heavy loads; usually without sides
Truly tragic. You never know when your life could end.

This is very scary indeed.Watching live coverage on Fox Newsand this is just horrendous. Hard to say how many are injured and or could be killed. If we have any members who live in the area, please let us know that you're ok.

What a shock!! I grew up just 2 blocks from the bridge, so it saddens me to hear this. I moved away from the area 15 years ago, but as a kid I spent quite a bit of time fishing under that bridge and the one next to it. I received word that all of my family is OK, but I will be glued to the TV for further reports. This bridge is right next to the University of MN, so it is possible that many of those crossing the bridge may have been students. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the fine people of Minneapolis, and those that were traveling through Minneapolis today.

My thoughts and prayers got out to the people and families. From what I heard on the news tonight, the bridge was decleared inadequate for about 2 or so yrs. (guess for the wgt load). Makes you wonder now how other bridges are. I know when I went back east on I80 many bridges were being totally rebuit.
