Cell Phone service

I figured no better place to get many opinions than right here. We are soon going to be getting new cell phone service. We are not really looking at what options a company has but customer service since most seem to have the same. Does anyone have an opinions about who has better service or the worst?
We are looking at Sprint, Verizon or Alltel

I had Sprint, now use Alltel. Sprint was great for a while but then it began dropping calls like crazy. I switched to Alltel about a year ago and have had very little problem. Of course this may depend upon where you live and travel.

I have Nextel. Never had any problems and since they joined Sprint there customer service has improved alittle. I have some friends that live in Maricopa county and they use Nextel. We two-way all the time without problems.

US Cellular.

Great reception (at least here), good customer service, good plans.

Not changed for incoming calls!!

Didn't care for Sprint or verizon, the other is not in our market.

If I were switching...I would go with Sprint/Nextel. Have heard great things about them...plus if you're into NASCAR at all, you can get driver phones with lots of goodies. They obviously have got their stuff together if they can sponsor the entire Nextel Cup Series...that's some pretty serious bucks there. Plus...these guys travel all over the country and most are using the Nextel phones, with the exception of Ryan Newman who drives the Alltel car and Jeff Burton who drives the Cingular Wireless car.

I use Cingular. I have called as far away as Edmunton Canada and no problem.
Only time it ever drops out is when you are in the valley of mountain peaks.
My computer, phone and celll phone all with Bellsouth.

My work phone is Verizon. It sucks around here. My personal cell is Unicel. Be glad you don't live in the middle of nowhere.

I don't remember why we left them, but the best service we have had was with Nextel.

Nextel and it is paid for by my work, not my first choice, but so far has been pretty decent. Customer service has been adequate.

I work for T-Mobile, but my cell phone service is through Cingular. That should tell you something.
