Check that tire date code
Just purchased 4 new tires for my truck, and verified that they all had "made in usa" on them, only looked at the date code on one (4308=43rd week in 2008). Got home and discovered one tire was from 2006, so had to go back to get it swapped. Don't drive this truck much, so definitely wanted "new" tires. Point is, always check all four. If you do TireRack, they always have fresh tires due to heavy turn-over of inventory.
