Checking in!
Just popping in to say hey. I currently drive an '05 Cobalt SS/SC, and looking to get into a new HHR SS in the very near future. Cobalt is a ton of fun, but I find I need a bit more utility, but still want that "bang" outa the box style and performance.
My dealer is getting one in the next few weeks, and the sales manager says as per normal Im the only one that has even requested info on this car, so we're going for a drive when it gets in. I plan on a factory order as I do not want another Red car, dont want a sunroof etc etc.
Anyways, I've been browsing the forums, some good looking HHR's out there, and plenty of info to keep me occupied as I wait to order.

Silver or Sunburst Orange...but Silver has my vote atm. Summit white would have been an option but since its not available on the SS thats a non argument.
Otherwise LSD, Premium Sound, Catback are the main options I would order, followed up with an Intake, tint and a DVD head unit. When thats done well I better order one before I get too far ahead of myself.

So after talking to the sales manager in December regarding the HHR SS and timelines, financials etc, I decided that I would wait another 6 months or so before getting one.
....... 2 months go by
Dealership had it in the showroom in Jan/Feb? I drooled a tad, then forgot about it.
....... 4 more months pass by
Just happen to be driving by the dealership and, well there that same SS was sitting at the top of the lot. Perhaps a good time to see if they want to get rid of it. So after a game of e-mail and phone tag I was going to go test drive it last Thurs. Then on Wed night like 7:30 pm, the dealership called and told me of their sale on all new/used cars on the lot, incentives etc etc. So I accepted their invitation and Today I came home a proud and very happy new HHR owner!!
