PMS: pre-menstrual syndrome
PTSD is alluding to McCain's POW status and perhaps having long-buried issues that can manifest themselves usually when you least expect it--first found in Vietnam vets, but now a part of the DSM-IV-R (Am. Psych. Assoc manual) and a documentable mental concern--basically, if you have a traumatic event in your life, we have a tendency to 'hide it' in our minds and something, anything can 'trigger' the memory and it can be devastating sometimes.
PMS, obvious I think!

PTSD isn't limited to War Vets. Just ask anyone who lived through Katrina, Sept 11th or divorce.

I find the sticker very offensive as the son of a Marine who fought in Korea and the relative of many Vietnam veterns and I am glad someone removed it.

See highlighted part of my post.
My job is to be aware of all this.
