Conversation with the Service Advisor

So i stopped by the Chevrolet dealer I bought the HHR from to make an appt. for a oil change.

I didn't have good experiences with them, but i got 3 free synthetic oil changes with my purchase.

I walked into the service dept.
I want to make an appt for an oil change. I said
Ok. how about in 1 week next tuesday? they replied.

For an oil change? a one week wait? i said.
yes we are booked up until then the advisor stated.

I then said. with what? Doing Toyota Recalls?

If you saw the puzzled look on the advisors face when I said that it was absolutely hilarious.

I then said ok see u next week and laughed my way back toward the parking area.

Oh and on the way out there was a salesman leaning against the backend of a Colorado in the showroom.
I asked him if he was doing a suspension test he stumbled away toward his desk and picked up the phone, and went out laughing even harder to the car and drove off.

Hmm, my dealer says they will do oil changes within half an hour, no appt needed as its a separate bay and staff. I figured they all did that.

Seems when the dealer changes oil, it is always overfull.. I figure they are in a hurry & don't let it drain completely..
So neither of our vehicles get dealer oil changes. Even when they were free.

& agee about the week wait..But what ya gonna do ?
