Another year and another sad anniversary here in Kannapolis as we remember our hometown hero. Its hard to believe that 11 years have passed in the blink of an eye since that black Sunday, but for those of us who knew Dale, and for those who loved to see that 3 car run...the pain of our loss is a fresh as ever.

Rest in peace buddy, you were taken from us too soon.



And now I'm glad I didn't know
The way it all would end the way it all would go
Our lives are better left to chance I could have missed the pain
But I'd have had to miss the dance.
