Dealership Inventory

Currently and ALWAYS does the Palm Chevrolet in Ocala (Oak ala) always have LS's and 1LT's in stock, the SS's last maybe a week. This dealer never has any 2LT's and don't feel like paying there $800 dollar locate fee (or whatever it is) and also getting a new car with more miles than i would like when i drive it off the lot. So my question is should i go to a dealer with:

1. no dealer fee (possibly saves 4XX-5XX dollars by itself) 2 dealers that i know of that have no dealer fees

Cindy Chevrolet - Wildwood, FL.
Courtesy Chevrolet @ the Airport - Orlando,FL.

2. find a dealer with the AA5 option in stock... (they never have one, probably don't even know it exists, )

any other pro's or cons that i could be missing (besides paying invoice and incentives and rebates; i will always pay this from now on, from learning about it and working at a dealer)

I would suggest doing a search on the Chevrolet website. You can find just the car you're looking for, call the dealer and get things done in a much more efficient manner. You'll be able to see the window sticker each car is assigned, too. Also, you can search the state for cars, too!

I would never pay a locate fee to a dealer! Either they trade with the dealer that has it and not pass a fee on to you, or they don't get the deal!

When I bought mine w/ aa5 option the dealer told me he would never request/order another one of those unless some one order it like that, but then again that was probably just a ploy to get me to buy it but so far havent had any like it so wo knows.

I located my 2LT on the Chevy website in Kansas City and then told my local dealer that was the one I wanted. They did a dealer trade and I had my car a few days later with no extra fees. Only downside is it had 200+ miles on it from the drive down here.

Doesn't the mileage on the warranty start when they deliver it to you? If it had 200 miles on it when you signed the papers, your warranty should have started with 200 miles on the clock.
