I'm with Gcarp, I wave all the time or flash the high beams during the day, and usually get ignored, but I have received a couple waves back. Seems like most people around here are just driving a car, not realizing it's an HHR!!!!! I thimk I need an aoooga to get their attention, or a train horn.

I wave out of habit because A) When I used to drive my wifes Jeep Wrangler the wave is part of Jeep culture B) When I ride my Motorcycle the wave is another normal thing

What I have found is that most of the HHR's I wave at are rentals and the person driving isn't even looking at me...the only time I have really gotten a real positive response was when an really hot looking SBO with chrome rims pulled up next to me on the highway and gave me a wave and a thumbs up which I returned

I sometimes do, but most are simply driving and in their own world. I'd say one in a thousand is a candidate for this forum and one in fifty care enough to seek out another HHR owner once in a while.

To most the folks I see with them, the HHR is simply a form of transport. Perhaps more of them should have purchased Vibes instead for all the pride or interest they seem to show.
But that could be just me seeing things that aren't there...wouldn't be the first time

I wave, but if they are beside me, they probably don't see me since my windows are tinted Usually no one waves back, with the exception of a Daytona Blue HHR around here who always waves back, or waves first. One of these days I'm going to track her down and chat.

I do sometimes. Most times I'm ignored.

It seems to be only the women that wave back, or point out my HHR if they see me before I see them.

Funny you say that, now that I think about it, seems mostly women wave back to me also.
