Dodge Caliber maybe in the future??
I went down to the dodge dealership today and tested the waters on the Caliber. The dealership out here is supposed to be the largest Dodge dealership in the country and they only had 2 in stock. the first one I looked at was a Dusty Blue SXT Caliber w/ 2.0L auto steel 17 inch hubcaps power locks windows etc etc msrp $15,120.00
The one I have my eye on is a Caliber R/T AWD 2.4 L,18 inch aluminum, wheels, heated leather seats and sunroof $19,840.00. the cars are very close in comparison to our HHR's with a few exceptions like AWD, 500 watt Audio system, factory 18's on the R/T model,4 wheel disks, rear seats recline and really trick transmission they called it a shifttronic where the doesn't even feel like its shifting at all, the RPM doesn't drop when it changes gears, they just steadily climb. The only draw back is the front driver area feels a little smaller , it may just be me ?
I didn't post this to try to bash our HHR's ! I personally love my HHR, just looking at the competition, we are looking to trade our HHR in the near future but still want the utility of a small SUV.

it's actually a CVT( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Continu...e_transmission ) I've yet to test drive one but apparently its very eco friendly as it's always supplying the car with the right amount of power...believe it or not I like th Jeep Compass which uses they same platform as the Caliber...

In my opinion, the Caliber doesn't even come close to the HHR's styling. It looks kind of bulky to me. However, I haven't seen the hp rtg, not to mention all-wheel is a huge plus. To each his own, but no way I'm givin' up my HHR for that hunk of junk.
