My dogs wouldn't have woken up for a 5.9.

Still, since 'quakes are as common here in SoCal as having a bbq at Christmas, I do have to say a 5.9 is pretty gnarly, dudes.

Hope everyone is safe -- they can be scary or, w/e.

A 5.9 on the east coast is totally different than one of the same magnitude on the west coast..... they travel further and tend to last longer, more "rolling" instead of shock like.

I would agree, we are as ready as you can be for an earthquake, but a roller is much better than a shaker and ten to fifteen seconds is much better than thirty to a minute. They all suck! LOL. Todd (Uma)
