Thumbs up An Evening with Z-Man (Rudy)

Tonight I took my fiance, Judy, down to Great Lakes Naval Station to watch the Fireworks show. If anyone knows our very own Z-Man then you probably know that he works at the Naval Station and is in charge of the security, among other things.

I gave old Rudy a call to let him know I was at the base to see the show and he was gracious enough to take over from there!

Rudy came and got Judy and I from the line of general public cars waiting to park and re-routed us to a primo parking spot by his mobile security command center. He gave us a tour of the grounds and his office and then invited us to an employee BBQ buffet. He gave us some ear plugs for the show and let us go off on his own while he returned to managing security for the base.

When the show (which was AWESOME) was over he told security to guide me out and we were able to be the FIRST vehicle off the base instead of having to wait in line!

Rudy... you are a class act, man, and I am glad to count you as part of my HHR "family" and a personal friend!

Thanks Robin! :)

I put the Pucci's 2 bug into Rudy's ear a couple of times last night. He'll let us know when he's ready.

Looking good, Rudy!!! Glad to see you back to work & looking healthy again! Sorry you missed Cedar Point, you would've had a good time. Hopefully the next G2G will be somewhere in the midwest other than Sandusky, we've worn it out I think!

About six short weeks to go, huh Tom & Judy!
