Exhaust tones, all cylinders

Decided to stop thread jacking the cutout thread in the SS section

I think this one sounds like crap. I particularly hate the SLP Loudmouth exhaust.

This one sounds nice:

Neither of those are perfect examples, but I didn't have time to do a whole lot of searching.

I have to chuckle a little. I have personally owned a 2000 Z28 with the SLP LM and I think it sounds amazing. We are going to have to agree to disagree on that one. I will admit the Cobra sounds nice, but IMO Mustangs in general tend to sound a little empty to me.

The SLP LM does sound different in person, as I think most exhausts do, but I know it's not to everyones liking, and that's just fine.

Now here is a good one!

This sounds good and I know it sounds amazing in person!

I am with you....Mustangs just dont sound as meaty as the other muscle cars, and thats because their engine displacements have always been smaller....example the 4.6L GT's vs the 5.7L Z28's and SS's....

and you really cant compare that Z28 under a load to the Cobra sitting there idling with a small rev in park.......

But one day i will have a C6 and its gonna sound like these two...

The Cobras do sound nice, that's for sure. But I would take a Chevy V8 over a Ford V8 anyday.
