Hey! It's not nearly as ugly now.

I'ts not so bad, don't expect much from small economy cars.

Wow. That looks a LOT nice than before. And even better than its competition (Honda Fit, Scion xD, etc)

Have to agree! That looks much improved over previous years! Of course I'd like to see one in person to really tell. A few of those "Sub-Compacts" always look so tall and narrow they look like they'd tip over going around a corner!

You can see where they got the design for the front grille...

I really like the front end. It looks great. Once past the headlights though something just doesn't seem right. The front looks too "aggressive" for the rest of the mundane styling. It just seems out of balance to me.

The "facelifted" Aveo sedan was available as a 2007 model in Canada; not quite the same look, but close. I test drove a couple with my wife. Nice interior, but the manual transmission was horrendous, the auto was much nicer. What killed the deal for us is that you get a micro car with the fuel consumption of a small sedan. The cobalt and Ion had much more room, same fuel economy and a much nicer powerplant.

The front of it looks great, but just doesn't go with the rear.
