Haven't been to Bonneville except as a tourist, but I did make a pass of 5.44 seconds and 255.92 mph in a Top Alcohol dragster while getting my NHRA license at the Frank Hawley drag racing school.
So you are correct!....and its your turn too!

You are correct sir.
Adventurous?
The truth isn't so exciting as I made it out to be.
While going to college I was renting an apartment on Santa Monica Bl. in West L.A., across the street from the Los Angeles Mormon Temple A former United States Treasurer Ivy Baker Priest who was Mormon had an office/apartment in my building. This was during an election and I think Priest was running for some California political office at the time. Apparently there were some threats made and being a former US government figure she was afforded protection by the Secret Service for a while. Had 2 or 3 guys covering the building 24 hrs a day. I never saw the Ivy Baker Priest lady.

Thank you for the compliment BATMAN, I got screamed at by Frank because I didn't lift when I was "supposed" to. They like to keep the Top Alcohol cars under 230 mph, but what the heck, it was my last pass and I've got my NHRA license.
