Sent Chris to the store to buy a few things for the pot of Chili I'm making and on the way to the store he managed to get a fix it ticket for window tint on the Focus We've been back in Michigan for several years now and they finally got us on it. Didn't take them as long to get us on it for the Crossfire. In Michigan you are not allowed window tint on the front side windows except for a 4" strip. We previously lived in Indiana where 35% tint was allowed on the front side windows. Anyhow, have an appointment for removal possibly later today.

here in Germany it is Not allowed to tint the front side windows (back windows no Problem we can do it but only with a Service German Law Nr.)

I have been pretty fortunate so far. Georgia is 32% all around and 6" strip on the front. I have run 5% on pretty much every vehicle and Georgia doesn't really seem to mess with you unless your just asking for it.

 

ugh, that sucks. I been tempting to tint mine, just to match the back, but then I want to move back to Michigan, and don't want to deal with it...

 

$15 later for having it removed the ticket is signed off on. Unfortunately, we live fairly close to a State Trooper Post so it was only a matter of time before we got noticed. Like I said earlier, shortly after moving back to Michigan we were stopped in our Crossfire for the same thing. However, that time we were only given a verbal.

wow i wouldn't make it out there. i have 5% in the back, 10% in the front and something like 40% on my entire windshield

 

My sister-in-law got a tint ticket a year or so ago. Limo tinted sides on her Caymen. Probably would've gone unnoticed but the first citation of the traffic stop was for driving solo in the HOV lane. She paid the fine and kept the tint.

 

I used to have 5% on the front and 5% over the stock tint, moved about 50 miles and the sheriff in my new area nailed me for it. So until next spring I have 35% on the front two. Plus a 75$ ticket. Jerks! never got stopped before, this is my 6th car that was tinted like that.
