The Camaro maybe rarer than 1st thought ,
It has a build date of Aug 20 1992 , The last third generation camaro And the day the Van Nuys plant closed was Aug 27 1992
So if not the last Bright Red 1992 Camaro Convertible Rally Sport Heritage Edition , certainly one of the last 2-5 built , If anyone knows any higher ups in GM that can search records
, Thats about the only chance of some sort of varification . I have got it down to one of six identical built for 1992 , I'm thinking the other 5 were built in the previous 51 weeks.

Might try calling the GM phone number in the owners manual of the HHR SS..
Maybe they can point you in the right direction..
Harley Davidson in Milwaukee has a special Dept, that only does VIN historys' for Free.
Maybe GM has something similiar..
Just a thought..

On wed. morning my 20 year old daughter got in her 1st and hopefully last car accident.
WITH MY SS !!!!!!!
Rear ended a guy in dunedin . His nissian murano has about $ 800 worth of damage , My SS needs a new hood , front bumper , and probally some inner stuff as well, drives same as before crash , Can't tell untill you look at it. Bummper is pushed up a bit , it will be my 1st insurance claim in 23 years with allstate. :

.I did the same damage a few months ago and it took 2 months to get all the parts. Be sure they get into the radiator area. The ac tube will be smashed, and the wiring harness may be cut if that radiator hit it... Hood alignment is the big issue. Mine is still 1/8 off on one side.

Update : SS has been in shop since last monday , Paint was done fri , Should get it back thurs.
Total so far about $ 4000 new AC compresser , Hood - ( complete , new grill, emblem ect.)
front bummper skin.
Allstate , and the dealer are working out who will cover the fixing of the GMTU which is not working , Unreal since the nissan it hit got a new bummper skin at $ 776 Thats it . LOL
Really bad pics , Sorry . You can't really tell but the hood has a nice crease just to the right of the headlight , The fenders were not touched somehow .
