Ford ditches Mercury

Ford has been gaining alot of momentum lately and personally I think this was long overdue: Mercury falling: Ford eliminates mid-range brand

Yeah, I saw that earlier today... Sad, but about time. I mean, they were all just rebadged Ford's anyways. Too bad they didn't have any distinctive or unique cars for themselves to keep them different... Oh well, if it helps them save money.

I'm really interested in Ford's reinvention of Lincoln. I'm especially interested in their addition of a C-Segment car to the brand. Hopefully it will based off of the C-Concept

I told Dorothy that Ford would keep Lincoln around because that is their "luxury" car like Cadilac is GM's.

Oh I disagree.......

Mine was pristine and had 500hp. Some A hole ran a light and T BONED me. The HHR was what I got next as I couldnt find another Marauder. The HHR is cool - I really miss my marauder though

The Marauder was a performance variation of the Grand Marquis aka Ford Crown Vic. While much cooler still not extremely unique IMO.

No, Milan was the Fusion, Sable was the Taurus, Mariner was the Escape, Mountaineer was the Explorer, and Grand Marquis was the Crown Vic.

Always loved the lines of the '49 Merc. Maybe that's one of the reasons that I have an HHR today.
