I`ve been monitoring the price of gas as an indicator of whether there`s any validity to our world activities or if it`s just another way for the rich to become richer.
I don`t expect anyone to stop driving (I know I`m not) or to disassociate with people they have met over the years...
This is a car related site, so all involved are somewhat committed to the idea that we like to drive, no matter what the cost, or season.

Let's see...since our owners manual advises not to use anything less than midgrade...I will give these prices for Washington State....

Lowest midgrade price: $3.11 at Arco in Yakima
Highest midgrade price: $3.54 at Shell in Arlington

Gas price where I am at in Yelm.... $3.25 for regular (didn't show midgrade or premium)

I would LOVE to live where y'all are still under $3

Starting to top $3.00 a Gal. around here now! Probably even higher up around Scottsdale. Thought we'd make it to Memorial Day before seeing this!

It seems the further away from the refinery, the more cheaper the gas. Try paying $3.35/gal. at Boyett!

And on another semi-related subject, WTF is with 9/10? This does not even apply today!!!

Yea, but I don't drive as much as I used to, and I do miss those nice trips to the mountains or the lake. Hey, I need the gas to go to work, so extra trips are out now. I also have changed my lifestyle by trying to make one trip do for awhile. The rich are getting richer, but my bosses don't see fit to give me the raise that the oil companies are giving themselves. I just have to enjoy my car more when I do get to drive it. Thank goodness it is getting good mileage, that's why I bought it. Besides, with the internet, I guess we can just e-mail, text, cellphone and forum instead of driving all over the place

I am scared to see what summer is going to bring...the news channels here think it will be close to $5 a gallon.
