Angry Gas prices

I see the robber barrons are coming back. It was $3.49 yesterday when I filled up. It was $3.59 when I went by the same station this morning. It had gone up about 15 cents just a few days before I filled up. I guess the gass companies are back ppushing for their $4.00 a gallon that the want.

I noticed a huge difference in price in my area as well. It's gone up 30 cents in 2 weeks...

Yes but a lot of their price is taxes, more than half is my understanding.

I drove from Florida to NY and back this past week. Gas prices went up substantially in the week's trip. Staions in upstate NY had cash price $3.859, credit $3.979 or regular. My local corner station gas was $3.509 last Saturday and today it was $3.779. I drove some 2500+miles this week, mostly highway getting 29-30.5 mpg and used about 70 or so gallons of gas.
