I like the post. Go Yeshua.

I believe it show the Heritage our HHR's came from and I love old trucks.

I used to have a 61 short bed and a 71 long bed. Drove the 71 to California with 192,000 miles on the clock. 6cyl automatic with 4:88 gears(3/4 ton) used 22 quarts of oil but it made it!!!!!! That all the way from Indiana. I was 18 years old then. Them were the days.........................

No problem Mike. Like I pointed out in my PM...it's my understanding that the Pictures & Media section is for photos & media of the HHR...and all other cars & media belong in the Lounge. Or in the case of my Deb Meets CJ & HaysHotRod photos, they belong in the South Mountain thread, as that's where to photos took place.

I enjoy looking at photos of other cars besides the HHR...and if the thread title doesn't appeal to me...I just cruise on by.

I just love how the front of the 61 looks. Its so ugly/beautiful. It just say to me, "Don't mess with me, I've got nothing to lose by running you off the road!"

Its goy such an angry/strong look to it.

The 71 has more of a generic GM look to it. That one was my Unlce's and he'd had it for 20+ years and i can't ever remember it not running well. I can tell ya it earned every last bit of the rust ond dent it has! It still runs like crazy, just doesn't look like it.

The 61, my dad has been working on a little at a time its basically been restored, he just doesn't want to paint it. New coat of primer every other year! Got a straight 6 now, he's gonna put an 8 in it soon.

Hi ya all. Since I'm the one that posted the negative about all the other type of vehicles being posted on the Chevy HHR.Net web site, stupid me I thought it was for HHRs and not all the different types of the worlds. So POST ON and you won't hear from me about it any more. So enjoy.
