Anyone want to buy a timing light?? Or should I put it up in the sale section? Sorry, some fool would buy it and give me crap about how it won't work on their HHR.

Maybe on the u-joint at the rear of the drive shaft? I could never remember which vehicle had this.
Yes, I remember discovering there was a zerk fitting for greasing the throw-out bearing on my truck at the same time I went to replace it due to it failing (from lack of grease?)

Oh yeah, that was over 30 years ago come to think of it. I have a compression gauge too, but I think that still has use.

I remember the "oil bath" from the ole '56 Panel with the 292 we had when I was a kid. Yea, it was a Ford..... And I wanted it....

Best filteration to date IMO.... But messy to change.....

My father kept a reinforced garden hose hanging in the garage. Whenever he needed a new length of hose for his '60 Falcon (which seemed to be quite frequently), he'd cut a length and put it on. Can't believe that the garden hose fit, but it did. Weird to look under the hood and see lengths of garden hose running between the radiator and the engine.

Here's another thing I don't miss ...

VAPOR LOCK!

Anyone had to sit on the side of a mountain road with an engine that was vapor locked? What fun! There were stretches of road in Yosemite and around Tahoe that I remember had lines of cars along the shoulder that were vapor locked and everyone just milling about waiting for something to happen.

Ya know, I never had that happen to me. Live in GA, WA & MT with my old carbed Mustang and never had that problem.
