I agree. The Colorado is garbage. The S10 took YEARS, but with some quality control, I would have considered it probably the most refined truck in its class. Sadly, GM doesn't stick to their guns. The Ranger has been around ages and has gone through a few bad years here and there but ultimately, the new product is better than the average truck in its class currently.

The Ranger is out of production now, too, as of 12/16/2011.

The new Colorado should address many of the quality issues. It already has gotten good reviewa in markets where it already has been released.
The key question here is price. The present truck is nearly as much as a full size and makes it a hard sell on top of the poor interior etc.
I too miss my Sonoma.

The Cruze wagon is sharp but the North American market for wagons is very limited. Buyers who want to have the haul ability generally want a SUV or a small vehicle that looks like a tall wagon or small SUV.
That is why the HHR sold better than any Cavalier wagon or even any Cobalt wagon ever would have sold. Most saw it as a small truck and the higher roof provided better ability to haul.
Most wagons in the last few years here has not worked well. In Europe and Asia they stll love em.
The Magnum is a great example of a nice wagon but too few buyers. I suspect the CTS will drop theirs with the restyle. It is a super wago but too few buyers.
