Had a good laugh today that involves an HHR

Another dealer came to us this afternoon to pick up an exhaust system for a Buick Park Avenue. This thing is a welded system about 12 feet long, from the catalytic converter back to the tailpipe. So of course they send their driver in an HHR panel.I saw that and asked him if he was packing a Sawzall to get the system in the car!He ended up lowering the right front window and pointing the first 4 feet of the system skyward out the window opening.I just hope the large men in the blue uniforms didn't stop him on his way back to discuss things.

See, if Chevrolet would have engineered barn doors on these, he could have opened the right door & stuck it out through with a flag on it!

Another good idea -- someone do it!

Now that is something we need; a good project for an aftermarket company since GM is probably not going to offer it. This especially makes sense with the back shelf in the upper position (though handy either way, both our Trailblazer & Quest had this and we used it most the time instead of opening the whole hatch)
