Thanx for all the welcomes. Great little community you got here. I like the 2 tone idea very much, but cant justify the added expense of repainting a new vehicle.

I appreciate the input on the lettering and will mess around in photoshop with your suggestions. But I really like the look of the black lettering on red background.

The dealer called today & is really trying to talk me into the 2007. Knocked a $1,000 off the list. But I'm definately going with the 2008 with the 2.4 engine, even though I will have to wait 2 months.

A Big Texas to the site, as you can tell there are a lot of friendly members here with great advice. Best of luck finding the right HHR, the 2008s should have some rebates as well. Keep us posted we can't wait to see the new addition.

Be sure and keep us in the loop - we want to see the BEFORES and AFTERS. So, what are you going to be doing to fill in the next 2 months?

I'm still looking for the best deal I can get. I'm going to look at a couple other dealer's in the area, & maybe even order it through GM's online process. Plus I have a friend who work's at one of their plants, & am going to see if I qualify for any discounts. I'm CHEAP that way

If your willing to wait, how about finding a dealer that will take your order. Order the HHR with exactly the options you want. I did and it was worth the wait for MY HHR to be custom built to my liking.

That's the plan. That is why I'm going with the '08 instead of an '07 off the lot.

I would've waited myself, but the golden teal metallic and a couple other colors were not going to be available in 08....I love this teal color, and even some of my friends that are not crazy about the hhr, once they saw mine, like it too!
pre-congrats
