Most of the peeps that I see around here in HHR's are easily into their "mid-life crisis" stage of life. Interesting how it can appeal to such different age groups.
SHO!!!!! SWEET I have a 92 red on gray with 106K on it in the garage doing a restore to it. Have the Quaife diff and 5 spd that car is my baby I have way too much into it 10K when done on a car that books at 3 but that is the car I have always liked since my first car was a 87 Taurus MT5 even more rare than a SHO. I'm the dad with the HHR SS and my son has a Cobalt LT, but his 19 year old girl friend wants an HHR.

I'm 22... But generally, I see 40+ yr old people driving them. Not sure why.

I bought mine to haul tools to and from work, while getting half-assed fuel mileage going to school (wish I could've found a manual panel instead of the regular...) Surprisingly few of them (one) in the construction biz up here, and I see a ton of job sites in the city...

Our HHR was the choice of my 16 year old daughter. She turned down many other options. We also have a Solstice GXP Turbo and she drives it she understands performance. The tuner options on the HHR were a significant consideration for her. The guy selling the Nissan was giving you a line of crap - demographics on the vehicle are wide spread but skewed much lower then his target. Don't wast the money on a Nissan - there are some sweet GM vehicles out there and coming that you will want to drive (Regal, Regal GS Turbo, Camaro, HHR SS, new Lacrosse, Terrian, Equinoux.....).

how old?

Im 78 and love my HHR have had hot rods and sports cars, when I had my Panters many times wpuld drive over 150 mph almost all the way from L.A. to Phoenix, Ariz. I dont have the need for speed anymore, if I win the lottery will buy a Bugoti V. most of the ladies I date are from20s to 40s that is what keeps me young.

Well yeah, these cars ARE for old people...sorry. But I have unusual tastes for my age, and I think the car fits my personality, especially the color. I'm 20, and have wanted one since they first came out when I was 16.
