I don't think you guys understand what it looks like...this TV is not hidden away in a den or office..it is smack dab in the middle of my living room and looks awful like a snake shedding its skin..trust me, you'd probably be doing the same thing. That being said, step up to a 40-46 LCD is in the near future once a nice sale comes around

Glad I came across this thread before we get our LCD! We are getting a 52" Sony Bravia HDTV 1080p we looked them all over and found that the Sony has the best picture. They say look at the resolution and the one we found had 15,000/1 which the picture is awesome. The Sony 46" has 18,000/1

The January 2008 CR states that a CERTAIN model of Panasonic is Number 1, and I believe Samsung is number 2.

You might want to review their article for ideas.

Maybe. Might not be strong enough though. Might have to go the acetone route, but I'm afraid of what would happen if you got a little on the plastic.
