All of the Above!!???

Started out as a replacement veh. , then a "But I can`t let it get Dirty" Veh.. Since we drive it to work every day (work at the same place), I`m stuck w/ aoa. But definitely not picking up dirty cargo.

Expensive Oil Change

Took our '99 Sonoma Pickup in for an oil change at local Chevy Dealer back in August and wandered around the showroom while I was waiting! To make a long story short, wound up with the HHR. The Wife uses it for getting to work, and everything else for that matter. I'm retired so I don't have much to go out for.) Still have our '96 Altima if I do. What an improvement the HHR is over that Sonoma!!

My Sebring convertable was getting old and cranky and it was time for a new car. I have toy and mini poodles that I will be showing in the future so I wanted something to haul them and the show gear in that got decent gas mileage. I liked the looks of the PTCruiser but hadn't heard anything good about driving one from those I knew who had so I crossed that off the list. I had about settled on a Pontiac Vibe until I saw my HHR and sat in it and drove it. I have fond memories of toodling around in a 50 Chevy panel truck when I was young and have always liked that type of car so I fell in love with the HHR. I don't know that daily driver really fits my use but that was as close as I could come. It will be a grocery getter, dog hauler, fun to drive car and at times a fishing vehicle.

Mine is used mainly as a daily driver. I wanted a PT for the longest time until I drove one and was very disappointed. Also a PT cannot be pulled behind a motorhome without a dolly and that is a big issue for me. When I saw the HHR, I fell in love with the looks and it turns out that it is easily towable behind a motorhome. Put the key in acc., transmission in nuetral, pull one fuse, and away you go (procedure is in the owners manual). That was a big selling point for me as my Malibu was easily towable as well, but gettting up there in miles (126,000 driven and about 10,000 towed). Another big benefit is my mother in law (91) can get in and out easier than the Malibu and she loves the HHR. Every time my wife comes back from spending the day with her mother, she comments on how much her mother likes the HHR.

Mine is used for everything. Its a big change from the last car (a 2004 Crossfire). Recently moved closer to family and the old car didn't allow for hauling around nephews and neices and definately would not be great in the michigan winters around here. The hhr has relatively good looks, gas mileage, interior space, and for a decent price. It doesn't get the looks the Crossfire did but it still gets looks.

well the car i traded in was a 98 cavalier coupe, it was getting old and the transmission was going so when i heard abt the hhr i wanted it but decided to save up alittle first before getting it and even the day i went to the dealership to look i was just looking but they got me a good deal and went to pa to pick her up.....but besides the look and handling i got her because i do not have any kids but i drive my mom and aunt (who is legally blind) around they didnt like the cavalier much more then me and i hate driving mom's mercury sable so i got my baby.....i drive her to and from work take her on long trips and just to run across town she is one of the most comfortable cars i have driven
