I bought mine for several reasons. For one, it sits better than the Stratus R/T that I had.My back is giving me problems lately and the Dr. said part of the reason was the low seating posture in that car.The HHR gets better mileage than the R/T did and also because it looks good. Finally, because my girlfriend and I frequent many antique shops and flea markets,it has the room to bring home that dresser or chair she just can't live without.Wait, maybe that last reason was a mistake. This could get expensive. Oh well, got to take some bad with the good.

Thumbs up

Got mine because I thought they looked real good. Old look with modern technology. Gotta love it. Plus the gas mileage is an added bonus. Oh yeah, it's a daily driver.

Actually I'm going through the old mid life crisis. Instead of dying the hair and buying a sports car and fighting the inevitible, I just decided to go retro. Got the HHR cuz it has the retro look. Actually wish I could afford a classic 40's car like a Pontiac coupe. Also got the Aarooooga horn and what my daughter calles an old mans hat. I think they are called Krogers(?) not sure.

I wanted more room in the garage. Two cars and a bike I could walk AROUND and still have room to do stuff on a work bench in front and get stuff out of the cabinents and freezer. Good-bye Explorer/Rodeo Hello HHR /Spyder.

Hmmmmm....Why did I get Wheelie?.....the answer is easy, I needed enough space to put my Rolling walker AND my wheelchair in, My little Toyota Corolla couldnt do that for me, When I first saw the HHR from an auto show, I was sold....Then came Hurricane Katrina...destroyed my Corolla, Katrina Actually helped me!, because I now had an excuse to get the HHR!

So Wheelie came into my life, and I am so greatful he did...my little 4 wheeled friend and I have become best buds!..I love Wheelie!

daily driver, and a cool looking one at that! Nothing else on the road really turns me on like the HHR. At least not anything new, and at the price, and with the gas milage!

i got mine for better gas mileage, the room, the reliability, the look.

i plan on making it a DD showcar.
i had a 95 explorer that got horrible gas mileage and my mustang will NOT be going out this winter. i have liked the look of the HHR since they came out.
better looking then the PT.

I got mine because of the looks

I was looking at PT's before I got my first look at the HHR. My wife was was looking at PT's on the web when she called me and said look at chevy's version. First look I fell in love and had to have one. Got it two months latter gas mileage isn't bad either.
