I Drove a Saturn Sky Redline last night...

My buddy and I went out for a drive in his new Saturn Sky Redline last night. He has only had it about a week. Well last night he handed me the keys That sucker has some serious giddyup! I dumped the clutch at a stop sign and was greeted with the pleasant sound of the 18s breaking loose and squealing for a couple seconds. Then on a straight stretch of road I put my foot into it and chirped the tires again at about 50mph during a 2 - 3 shift. At one point I looked down and we were going 90 with about 17psi boost from the turbo. That car is one wild ride. I can only hope the HHR SS is half as fun. I know it won't probably handle as well but the straight line performance will definitely be worthy of the SS badge if it is anything like the Sky Redline.

Yeah it makes me want to test drive an HHR SS when my dealer gets one.

I had a Cobalt SS/SC before the hhr that I had highly modified and it was one sweet ride. I took it to the strip on wednesdays. Ran low 13s. I can only imagine driving a solstice or redline thats rearwheel drive. That would be 10x the fun!!
