Angry I Failed!

The wife bought a new car today. Went after work and picked it out and bought it without me. I'm not even on the loan paperwork! Traded in a 2005 New Beetle and bought.....................................a 2009 New Beetle I'll get some picks when she gets it on Thursday. It has the inline 5 cyl. and I was surprised that is is rated at 170 hp! Peppy little booger

Oh trust me I tried and tried to talk her into a HHR SS. Aparently the HHR thing is mine alone. She has no interest in one. I did however almost have her in a Trailblazer SS. With the employee pricing they had one here for 21,000. I didn't think that was bad at all. But, she likes the Beetle, she must it's her third in a row!

Stick... if she defaults the loan, you're not liable to pay it....not saying that she would, but if it ever came to that, you can see how this glass is half-full.

Heh, when I bought my HHR it was my decision alone. I told him I was buying a car, I did not ask. The loan is in my name but I do let him drive it now and then. He wanted a new truck, but I said it was my turn, my bonus and therefore, my choice...lol.

I don't think that will ever happen. She bought the last two and payed for them both. Her by herself is just easier, I don't think she is on mine either.

We have a 2005 Beetle GLS as the wife's car. Its the 1.9 liter diesel TDI version. Only 100hp but 177 lb-ft of torque @ 2000rpm. It goes pretty good and the best part is mixed MPG around town @ 43 or so and 50mpg on the road (in summer-- wintertime the kerosene blended winter fuel cuts mpg about 10%).

VW's rock. I've good things about the 2.5 gas engine as well, namely very good torque accross the band.

Yep, I'm getting excited. This is her third. 2002, then 2005, now a 2009. Her first was great, loved the pickup, color(bright yellow), wheels, and interior. Basically I loved that car. The 2005 hated the wheels(PIA to clean), had a bloack leather interior (HOT), and it was kinda a orange color. The new one is more like the first, only Gecko Green! I'll get a pic when she gets it.

Sorry to say man, that sounds REAL familiar. My EX did that to me also. Come to find out she was preparing to leave me for another man.
