I finally broke down......

I had set it up to met in a public place. Other wise I would have brought my big strong man with me!
No glitches so far. Having the iPod was a big help in learning curve how the iPad works. Like with any device, you'll have your pros & cons. It's pretty user friendly. You'll enjoy it.

I'm always leery of meeting someone for a CList or ebay purchase. Lotsa weirdo's out there. Glad you adventure worked out. Sounds like you are pleased with your purchase. Noticed any glitches/things you don't care for? This will be our first apple product...we don't even have an ipod lol

I call it the iToy.
Cool! Welcome to the club!
I have the now 'old school' one and dig it.
My Boy got it for me last year and I wasn't sure if I really needed/wanted it. He had given me a gift card for the wifi only one and at the last moment I forked out and upgraded to the 3G and am SOOOOO glad I did! I managed to get in under the "unlimited access" so it is always connected.
I have come to rely on it A LOT for things and take it everywhere now. I have a handy pink/black bag for it and use a bluetooth/wireless keyboard when I need to do heavy typing on it (I would take it to school).
When I had that other job and traveled so much, I downloaded free books and would read them on the plane -- so much easier then trying to carry an extra book!
It does not replace a laptop, but got it to mimic one pretty well. I recently got a wireless HP printer and the reason I chose this one as it allows me to print from the iPad.
And mine is custom pinstriped by SoCalpinstriper (Jeff).
<3 my iToy!
We both just got the new MacBookPro's -- WOW what an awesome laptop. Forgot how much I missed Macs.

Don't have the Ipad yet as I don't really have a need for one. But I do have the Ipod Touch. I listen to music almost every night w/ a set of Bose noise canceling headphones..........I really wish my next door neighbor wouldn't let her dogs bark all night long. Got a few games on it to help kill the battery, and occasionally surf the net w/ it. Will make sure the Ipad will have better than WiFi when I eventually get one.

I'm posting from the new iPad! This thing is pretty sweet. Had to get a new wireless router tho, the old one just wasn't cutting it. Still working on learning the tricks on this thing, but it's a quick process. Guess I need to learn how to buy stuff from iTunes now, huh?
