I'm just guessing but I think that style of paint might be illegal in the US, too much of a distraction to other drivers.

It would be cool if done right though!

Saw a Jetta on the road in California that had it. Doubt if it would be prohibited, if it was in California......you know how they are The guy also had the "pilot house" of his boat painted with it. Really a strange look when you're 3-4 miles offshore.
