Importance of a CarFax report

Just wanted to pop on here real quick and show you guys how crooked used car dealerships are.

My old Ram is now on the lot ready for a new home, but check out the listing.

NO KNOWN BODYWORK
EXCELLENT ORIGINAL PAINT
NON SMOKER
TIRES AT 80% TREAD (30k miles on them)
And a couple other things I know to be untrue. It's just wrong. Glad to see they left my *****ter pipe intake on there. lol
http://miltonrubenchevrolet.ebizauto...px?iid=5236420 (Original ad was taken down because the truck sold)

And here's the truck 4 months ago:

I was upfront with the dealership about my accident, didn't really have a choice as they pulled a vehicle history when they were appraising it. Then they try to pull a fast one on somebody, and looks like they succeeded.

Another thing to be wary of is the CarFax report itself. Sometimes the good folks around you can be of more help.

My preowned HHR SS had a perfectly clean CarFax report.

While helping me out with my build sheet, our invaluable ChevyMgr informed me that my HHR was was towed in twice in November 08 when owned by the previous owner.

Once for a connector repair at the underhood electrical sensor and 7 days later a crankshaft position sensor replaced.

None of this was on the CarFax report.

You should have stuck that picture and a note in the owner's manual.
