I remember when I was in school oh so long ago there was a question if Pluto was a planet.

I think the International committe voted on this yesterday...according to todays local paper (who knows, though, they have been wrong before).

It is offical..Pluto is NOT a planet in our solar sytem. Neither is the other "questionable" obiting material that was recently discovered.

But, life will go on !!

They voted on a new definition for a planet...

"A planet must be round, orbit the sun and be the dominant body in its area".

Really, that kind of fits me.
