Eventhough I'm not getting the Panel, my HHR will be used for my Home Inspection Business. All of my equipment that my full size chevy K-1500 PU has been haulin will easily fit into the HHR. Including my 2 folding ladders.

Cool chicago tribune article - 5/13/07

Hello...click the link for an article from today's Chicago Tribune...the '08 panel variation is mentioned in the article, which will have windows in the doors but not in the rear quarter panel.

Good review…

I really liked the last comment comparing the Panel to the E-Series and Sprinter. The capabilities of those vehicles far exceed the needs of many consumers, and while there are other options (cargo versions of the Caravan) none have the style of the panel!

You might snicker when I mention style, but I bet there are lots of companies who will appreciate having a utilitarian vehicle that doesn’t look like the box they are delivering!

But the Caravan will carry a lot more cargo also. The HHR Panel will (should) be a hit to small delivery companies that never carry a big load (or at least for a vehicle or two).

Good case in point, the wife went to a baby shower in NC this past weekend. The stuff we gave to the two "to-be" mothers would have never fit in the back of the HHR Panel, much less still carry a child in a car seat in the back seat of a regular model. She was loaded (but chould still see out the back window) and the MPV is not even an extended length.

Sorry, didn't mean to imply a comparison between the Caravan (cargo version) and the Panel. I just wanted to point out that there aren't that many choices for the commercial buyer when it comes to cargo vehicles.
