John Force crash

For those who follow NHRA Drag Racing, John Force was involved in a nasty crash at the finish line today in Dallas at over 300 MPH. Sounds like he was very lucky to be alive. Here is a link with video.

Yes, very nasty!! Looks like it might have been a good thing that he collided with Bernstein, if not, he may have gone straight in the wall---------nose first!!

Wow! Thanks for that link, John has been in the game so long and been through so many near misses. I hope he and his family is all doing well, they will be in our prayers. It looked like Kenny crossed the line and blew a tire sending fragments under John’s car. It's always amazing to me at how these accidents occur with so little damage to the drivers at over 300 mph, and the sweet school teacher across the street has a 30 mph finder bender and dies. I'm just glad everyone is ok and will live to race another day.

Go John Go!

Wow, that's amazing.

Sounds like he'll be OK but a lot of recovery ahead for him.

He is a cool guy. I hope he can recover. At his age and with all his injuries, this may end his driving career. He is a lucky man.

Unfortunately you may be right. I think he was close to retirement anyway, and this could seal the deal. With Ashley driving, at least he will still be around the track. Truly one of the all time great drivers in NHRA history.

I wonder what John will be thinking next time one of his girls goes down the track. It would be a shame to see him retire, but this could do it, and who could blame him. He has had a rough year with Eric Medlin passing away too. Lots of thoughts and prayers to him and his family.
