To late now!!!
I was driving my 06 LT by the local chevy dealership so i decided to stop in. I was walking around looking at the HHR's in the lot of course 
then while walking back to my LT i look in the showroom and they had a black 09 SS looking pretty as hell. The thing is i just bought my 06 LT two weeks ago 
if i would have stopped in two weeks prior probably would've purchased it instead.
I love my 06 LT though, only 13,800 miles on it.

I have always had a philosophy about cars and deals. If you didn't end up with something that you thought you should have, then it wasn't meant to be. You probably would have spent a heap more for the 09' and who knows if it was the "car for you"? You'll certainly enjoy your luxurious LT, so don't look back.
