I have to agree on the bogus MPG #'s,,,

That ain't right

So is the super low pricing, only available if you are a left handed American Legion member w/ size 10 shoes, or stuff like the fine print they stick at the bottom of the ad.

We have a dealer here that does the same thing. I even wrote to them and told them I was an HHR owner and that their ads were wrong. Even reported them to Tom Martino of troubleshooter.com as well. They never responded to me...the dealer, but they did start sending me junk emails asking me to buy a car...wrote back and said, please remove me...I don't need a car and don't buy from liars. Here's their add straight from their website...shows the HHR at 36mpg

Also, when I first saw this, I checked the stock # from the ad and found the car on their site and it had the right information. How much you want to bet they claim misprint? I don't think so...they have been doing this for almost 6 months.

One other little diddie to all those who live at high altitude such as me. You have about a 3%loss in power and numbers for every 1000ft altitude.

All new cars show they get "X" MPG. maybe so at sea level but not up here-even though I still get pretty good at around 22

I live in Denver "The Mile High City" and I've always gotten at least advertised mileage or better. Most of my driving is in the city, stop and go and I consistently average 25.9 mpg. I couldn't be more pleased and my car runs great.

You people up in the elevations need forced induction. Time for an HHR SS Turbo!

Thanks!!! Yes... can you guys believe this insanity. I mean COME ON!!!! How low can you go. 38 F^&*%ing mpg....where........ IN SPACE. If you look at any test/review/report on the reno, the testers act suprised that the car even drove. It's that bad. The WORST mileage in it's class, by a long shot.

To put it in the paper on sale with 38mpg next to it in giant bold black print was just to much for me. Way to much.

BTW all three cars in that ad have grossly overstated mpg and the dealers name rhymes with Danly and Manly.

Uhhhh. ((38/28)-1)x100=35.7% off. You give them too much credit, maybe they are using Grand Imperial Super Gallons. lol

Factor in that Suzuki's have the highest depreciation of just about any brand, and it makes it even worse.
