Gas boycotts make no sense. Sure in theory you may take money out of their pocket for that day but what about the money you're putting in their pocket the day before or the day after when everyone refills? You are just driving up the profits on a different day. Even if you choose a day to boycott they still end up with your money no matter what hence negating the purpose. I wonder how much of a surge in profit they'll have tomorrow or had yesterday from people who chose to boycott today. Also the gas companies losses figure is completely unrealistic IMAO. $2,163,302,190.00 my ass. There are far too many assumptions in that figure.

Nope. I have to drive the Ranger tonight, my wife has a job interview. I negelected it something fierce since the HHR came to town, and now I need gas to make it to work.
From my wife on this subject:
Why try that? It is just silly. Instead why don't you all boycottt one company for a month?
I may be a man, but I think she might have it right on this one. Don't tell her I said that!

Let's not go there again.....if anyone thinks that any political party will be able to do anything about this, they are naive. We may as well blame it on the communists.

Yeah...I have this recurring nightmare in which I hear a knock at the door, answer it,and a suit is standing there who says "I'm from the government and I'm here to help you". Man...I need therapy.
