May the Best Car Win, in Action

As quoted by Bob Lutz:

And I put the challenge out to you. If you own a car comparable to the Cadillac CTS-V (a 4-door production stock sport sedan) and you want to match up against me and the Cadillac, you can join us at Monticello. Follow the link to fill out an application. From the list of applicants we’ll select several challengers to join us for the V-Series Challenge.

I found a used CTS-V locally for about $16K and it was tempting..... 400 horses and a 6 speed.

Is he talking the new CTS-V? If so, it's a given. Maybe a M5 or a CLS63 AMG would be close but that's all I can really think of as competition.

i just spent a while researching other 4 door saloon cars and nothing will beat the V, maybe if ferarri made a 4-door like they said they would this would be a little more difficult to choose. i retract my original statement and say the V will be all production 4-doors.

Bob, does like to "load" his side of the bet. Every auto mag has done extensive testing of anything in the 2009-2010 CTS-V class. Nothing even comes close to the Caddy......except the Z06 (the ZR-1 is a run away), and they're not even in the same class.

You got my uncle beat.
He's a 60yo ex-Outlaws MC.
He's a bouncer at a rowdy bar in Ontario Canada.
He's still a spring chicken compared to The Bob.
