Memorial Day
I'm just a little early with this.......
Remember this MONDAY is Memorial Day. If you fly the "colors" of our great country, it is to be lowered to half staff till NOON then raised to full staff afterward.
In the event, I do not "talk" with the great members of this forum prior to that day, have a good safe weekend, don't drink and drive and remember to thank those who have provided their services for us to enjoy this day.
Thank you ALL.

I led 9 uniformed Cub Scouts in our parade yesterday. Following the parade, there was a ground-breaking ceremony for a new, larger Veterans' Memorial in our town. If I can get a news photo, I might add it here. It was nice to have the Scouts out there, though, even if it was almost 90 before noon.

I'm not sure about their 100 people crowd estimate. Other outlets reported the crowd at over 500, and there's more around the pond in the video.
Anyhow, thanks to all our servicemen and women, both past and present. Your sacrifices are appreciated.
