Michael Vick Pleads Guilty
According to espn.com Michael Vick has plead guilty and will face a "lengthy prison sentence".Hopefully this will show that no one can get away with this and discourage anyone who participates in this horrendous activity.I hope his brother also realizes that he must behave and be good role model.

But what is a "lengthy prison sentence"? For me, 24 hours would be lengthy.
I'm just glad that tax-payer money wasn't wasted with a trial and that he took responsibility for his actions, finally.

From my local TV Station, he might just get 1-2 yrs only plus a heafty fine.
But sometimes they post a partial time, and update later.
Not enough in my book for an animal abuser, word has it he killed over 10 dogs his self.

It's all about how much they're willing to spend to get out of stuff like that...
Hopefully the people involved in this case aren't susceptible to his bribes and they do what is right by sending that a-hole to prison... him up...

Well look at it like this. The time will be 14-18 months. The feds usually only cut 10% off for good behavior. That is about one year. So lets say he goes to jail in september. He will get out maybe september of next year. The nfl will suspend him one year and that is september of 09.Add a few months for a team to pick him up and that is probabally feb. of 2010.So yes this is a lengthy sentence. Vick cant just walk out of jail and play. Remember he gambled on something illegal. He might be banned for life. You can ask Pete Rose about that.

Federal prison doesn't do good behavior anymore. You do the time. He still may face charges in Virginia for animal cruelty so it isn't over for Vick yet. What team is willing to put up with the PR nightmare that will follow him after he gets out? He better hire a good PR firm....
