He was offered a full ride, except $1900 a year at MIT. Including tuition, fees & dorm. If he wants to keep his car there, it will be $800 more a year. Math is one oh his strong points, winning Chicago city-wide math competitions every time he entered.

Absolutely wonderful. I so wish there were more like him, as it will take that type of talent and hard work to keep our country on the right track to prosperity.

My dad had a chance to buy 4 of them, from one guy back in the seventies. He wanted $1,500 each, and my dad offered him $4,000 for all 4. They both wouldn't budge. Now 35 years later one sells for 4.3 MILLION. Talk about missing the boat!

It's a pretty personal decision really...Based off of education and programs available I would vote MIT.
I graduated in 2004 with my engineering degree, and transferred from a school that had a great engineering reputation...But the school itself just wasn't me. If that makes sense?
Obviously, if he has toured both schools...He can get a feel for which environment would better suit him
LOTS of luck on the decision, and future engineering school - it's tough, but it sounds like he's well prepared!
